Speech and Language

All Tucker-Maxon teachers work on developing the speech skills of their students. Our instructional program is based on the work of Daniel Ling. The enormity of this task dictates that a specialist support the teacher's efforts and provide additional instruction for some students. Our speech pathologist is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is certified as a teacher of deaf children and in general education.
