CHOOSING TUCKER-MAXON

When you enroll your hearing child in Tucker-Maxon’s elementary program, you are laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and citizenship. By learning alongside children who are hearing impaired, our hearing students learn to value differences and believe in social justice. Our students in Grades 1 - 5 also get comfortable with digital technology by using it in the classroom every day. With interactive whiteboards (SMARTBoards) and wireless keyboards (Writers) in every class, our students use technology to collaborate, inquire, and make connections. Research consistently shows the long-term benefit of small class sizes, especially for young children.* In Tucker-Maxon’s elementary, 2 highly qualified teachers serve each class of no more than 16, ensuring an intimate, child-centered school experience.
